 Northern Counsellor - Clem Barnes

Clem Photo Clemencia is an accredited Clinical Therapist bringing a wealth of counselling experience to the service.  She has worked in both Private Practice as a Jungian Clinical Family therapist and as a Community Trainer in Launceston from 1980 to 1997.  In 1997 Clemencia worked in rural communities as a Rural Counsellor firstly for RFCS Tasmania (formerly Rural Support Tasmania) and then for the Wentworth, Balranald, Mallee and Sunraysia Rural Counselling Services in Victoria. 

She returned to Tasmania and took up the position of Project Manager with the Networking and Training Technology (NATT) Program in February 2000 until it’s completion in May 2003.  She then applied for the position of Rural Financial Counsellor in northern Tasmania in September 2004.  Clem has recently completed her Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling).


Southern Counsellor - Leigh Noye

Leigh commenced employment with Rural Support Tasmania in August 2001, having spent the first 21 years of his working life in the banking industry, the last 11 years as manager of rural branches.  After taking the opportunity to leave that industry, Leigh spent a short time as Administration Manager in private enterprise, then joined a leading Hobart accounting firm working in the area of corporate recovery and insolvency prior to joining the Service.  Leigh is a Senior Associate of the Australian Institute of Banking and Finance and brings to the service a wealth of financial knowledge and experience.  He has recently completed his Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling).
